All Strategic Value Streams certifications are governed by and assessed against the Strategic Value Streams Body of Knowledge.

The Body of Knowledge defines the scope, principles, structural constructs and governance disciplines that underpin enterprise value stream operating models. Examination content and assessment criteria are derived from this standard.

Eligibility and progression

Eligibility

Foundation certification is required prior to formal award of Practitioner certification. Certification levels are cumulative. Candidates are expected to possess practical organisational experience.

Progression

Practitioner certification is required for progression to Fellow assessment. Certification levels are cumulative and structured.

One resit is included at no additional charge.

Certification Validity and Renewal

Practitioner certification is awarded for 36 months from the date of successful examination.

If a candidate progresses to Fellow status within this period, Fellowship supersedes the Practitioner renewal cycle.

If Practitioner certification expires and Fellowship has not been awarded, certification status lapses and digital credentials are revoked.

Reinstatement requires successful completion of a new Practitioner examination.

This renewal framework ensures that certification reflects maintained professional competence and alignment with the evolving Body of Knowledge.
